SHOW YOUR WORK
How a disgusting number earns publication.
The joke may be immature. The evidence chain is not.
- 01
Start with a sourceable question
The subject may come from our research backlog or a visitor submission. It must be specific enough to calculate and supported by credible public measurements.
- 02
Lock every input
Each numeric input is stored with its source, excerpt, units, retrieval date, and extraction notes.
- 03
Replay the equation
The calculation engine recomputes the result, checks unit compatibility, and compares it with the displayed number.
- 04
Check the language
Numbers in the caption must come from locked inputs. Assumptions and uncertainty remain visible.
- 05
Publish
Only a verified queued fact becomes public. Per-platform idempotency prevents a retry from duplicating successful posts.
VISITOR SUBMISSIONS
A request is an idea, not evidence.
The research worker can reject an unusable request, research a usable one, and extract related future-topic ideas. Nothing reaches the queue until the same source, excerpt, arithmetic, assumptions, unit, confidence, and duplicate gates pass.
